A Few Guitar Chords for Beginners to Get You Going
Tuesday, January 17th, 2012
Isn’t it just amazing how you can play a lot of songs on the guitar by just practicing a few of those guitar chords for beginners? That’s what I actually did. I first mastered about 4 of those basic chords categorized for beginners and then I searched a song which uses those chords and voila! I can already play that song in particular. I soon realized that if I advance more in my learning of guitar chords, the songs that I could possibly play on the guitar are endless!
So if you are already too eager to play your very first song on the guitar, then just memorize 3 or 5 guitar chords and you will be good to go! There are indeed a lot of songs that uses just those chords so you don’t have to worry if your knowledge is not enough because learning 5 chords is more than enough to play a guitar song.

Recording Equipment is Not Just for Music
Friday, December 23rd, 2011
Who says only musicians such as composers and singers can own a home recording equipment? Do you know that I have a friend who owns the same type of recording stuff and she does not know how to make music or even sing. I’m telling you, it will be the end of the world if she does. She actually had no use for it at all when she first bought it. She did not even know she has a recording software installed in her computer. She only knew of it when she was tasked to make a documentary of the employees rallying in front of our school building. She first thought of just making an ordinary recording of the stuff via her webcam but plans changed when her boyfriend discovered about the recording software. All they did was to buy for speakers and a reliable mic to complete the work. I realized that it is not so difficult, then, to make your own recording equipment. I can, actually do it too, if I want.

My Failure on How to Play Electric Guitar
Monday, November 21st, 2011
I’ve actually been dying to learn on how to play electric guitar so I could brag to my friends that I’m a certified rock chic. But this dream had long since vanished because when my mom enrolled me to the program, I quit on the first day. I just couldn’t take it. It was frighteningly hard! My fingers and wrists were already sore even after an hour and the fingertips on my fret hand have small bruises on them that typing and using the computer invites a sharp pain which I really can’t afford.
So now, I still have the dream but not as intense as the first time. Maybe, I really wasn’t’ meant for this kind of stuff. I’m contented being a cheerleader who loves music very much. Maybe, music is not really for me. So now, I’m totall focused on my cheerleading which is really the talent that I’m really proud of.

If you are interest in learning how to play bass guitar, then the choice of guitar to use is very important. Actually, the number of strings that a bass guitar has usually determines how fast you will learn how to play.
Bass guitars come with a number of strings and there are those that come with up to 12 strings. With the increase in number of the strings, the width of the guitar’s neck also increases. As a beginner, the last thing you need is to have so many strings that you do not even know what to do with them. What you actually need is a four stringed bass guitar that is very easy to use. Once your ability to play the bass improves, you can then go ahead and purchase a 5 or a 6 stringed bass guitar.

Electrical Contractor Needing Work
Monday, October 10th, 2011
I will do my best not to use swear words. I just got a call from an electrical contractor Ottawa company and was told that my services would not be required anymore. I am pretty sick and tired of the same old excuses. You showed up too late, you work too slow. When I am being paid by the job, not by the hour, what difference does that make? This person who runs the contracting company had to lay off most of his work force. I thought the economy was supposed to be in recovery mode. Apparently construction is slowing down now and we are hoping for a busy spring next year. I won’t hold my breath. I might have to move to find work. If anyone has suggestions on who is hiring in Ontario please do not hesitate to let me know some tips. I will be very thankful.

A Distraction to Myself
Wednesday, October 5th, 2011
I left my small town when I graduated from high school. My parents knew how much I enjoy watching my favorite shows every night that they surprised me with an iplayer overseas subscription. They gave it to me when I was about to take the bus that would bring me to the airport. I was touched with their gift that I burst into tears when I saw the small piece of paper where they wrote the login details. I thanked my parents and promised to do well in school and not waste the money they spent on my education. A few weeks into my college classes I was so homesick that I was about to go pack my bags and go home. That is when I saw the piece of paper my parents gave me. I opened my laptop and typed in the login details. When I heard the introduction song of my favorite show I felt like I was transported back to my bedroom.

Facts the Photograher Should Know
Saturday, October 1st, 2011
The job of a wedding photographer seems to be all-inclusive. Many times when a photographer is at the wedding site it may appear that he is just snapping pictures. However, this is not at all the case. The photographer has to be included in most all of the phases of the wedding. There are things that they need to in advance before coming to the wedding to take pictures. Their job is to know what types of pictures that should be taken at the wedding and during the reception. Some couples prefer the traditional weddings pictures, while other couples prefer a combination of other styles that they may have seen at other weddings. Therefore, companies like Port Macquarie portrait Photography will need this information before the wedding day. To prepare for all technical aspects of the wedding, the photographer will often visit the location to see what type of equipment will be needed in order to ensure the lighting will be suitable for certain pictures.

Gilmore Girls Season 3 Episode 14
Thursday, September 29th, 2011
During the episode Swan Song we really see how much Lorelai trusts her daughter and fellow Gilmore Girl Rory. Lorelai going out of town to see a musical with her friends. Rory is old enough to be left alone. In fact Lorelai has even made fun of her before in a previous episode where Rory just wanted to stay at home and do laundry the way she likes it instead of throwing a wild party like most kids would’ve done. However, while Lorelai trusts Rory she really doesn’t trust her rebellious boyfriend Jess.
Luke Danes, who is Jess’ uncle is also on the case. He has a funny system where he goes up and interrupts the two of them every ten minutes when they are studying or hanging out in his apartment. He says that he forgot something and it’s pretty easy because his diner is just downstairs. It makes it really convenient to check up on them. Then he just stores everything he takes downstairs and takes up the box later on and starts all over.

Got Him Involved in Those Electric Guitar Lessons Online to See How He Does
Tuesday, September 27th, 2011
My son has a friend that is actually a self taught guitarist, and you guessed it; now my son wants to learn how to play also. Although he is not musically inclined enough to teach himself! So I went ahead and got him involved in those electric guitar lessons online to see how he does. I will let him do those for a while to see how he improves. He is bound and determined he and his friend are both going to be proficient players. I am fine with it, especially since the lessons online are a fraction of what an instructor costs to come teach him. It would be nice if his friend could teach him, but I know there would not be a whole lot of tutoring going on. More like playing around and buddy talk. He is only asked to do 3 hours a week, so that is not bad at all for him.

Tips for Drawing Better
Tuesday, September 27th, 2011
If you want to draw better, whether it is to draw roses, or to draw horses, or to draw people, one of the key ways to improve is to draw from something real. Even a photograph is better than nothing, but drawing from a real life object (or person) in front of you is the best way to practice.
And that’s another way to improve your drawings. Practice. And more practice, and more practice. If you really want to see a dramatic improvement in your drawings, you should aim to practice two hours a day. If that seems like a lot, relax. You could be a musician — they are supposed to practice four hours a day. Of course, if you are really hungry to become the best artist you can possibly be, the idea of drawing four hours a day will not repel you, it will make you excited to try.
