I am captain of our schools debating squad and thanks to a level philosophy I now do more debating than ever! Because of the nature of the subject a lot of questions are asked of us as pupils and we are often encouraged by our teacher to conduct debates and find an outcome. I have been debating now for about three years and I enjoy it immensely! I think that solving a debate through the medium of words and language is the best way to go about things. If we all spoke more rather than lashing out then argument could be settled a lot easier and a lot more maturely. Which is what we as a society that is ridden with crime and anger needs, in my opinion. I realise this is a dreamer theory and that it is probably not a possibility but I still think that it would make this world a much better place entirely.

I have been waiting for this Friday night for weeks now. My friend from Miami, Florida invited me over for the weekend. So I filed for a two-day leave of absence for this Friday and next Monday so I can get a four-day off. Fortunately, I have lots of unused vacation leave since I started working for the physical therapy school where I work as an accounting clerk. Besides, it has been a very long time since I treated myself so I am taking advantage of these four days to really enjoy my days off. I got my bags packed and my car is filled up to the rim and my route is already plotted in my navigator. I leave Thursday evening and I am expected to arrive the following morning at my friends place along the beach. I can hardly wait for the itinerary set for me by my friend.

I’m thinking about going to California InterContinental University. I haven’t applied yet, but since I have heard some good things about this university, I figure that I would send them my application and hopefully they will accept my application. I can’t believe that I’m almost done with with high school. I have the impression that it was only yesterday since I started high school. I have to say that I have had a lot of great times so far, and I have some nice and not so nice classmates, but I am going to remember this time for the rest of my life. I remember before starting high school, I thought that it was going to be really hard for me since I am a nerd, but it turns out that things aren’t so bad after all. The majority of the students that I come in contact with on a daily basis are very nice.
